I expect to learn how to read and analyse ancient texts while building my own project. Texts are potent historical sources, and reading ancient texts is a crucial step in academic research. I will be reading and translating with reference to Zhang Ziran's Commentary on Guangchuan huaba.
Guangchuan huaba 廣川畫跋 (Guangchuan Painting Postscript) is a work of painting postscripts by Dong You, who lived in the Song Dynasty. However, it has also been argued that the book was compiled by Dong You's son Dong Fen after his death.
