Hatamoto sonae oshi no kaku 旗本備押之格 (Brigham Young University) Beta

Hatamoto sonae oshi no kaku is a set of two scrolls produced in 1703 to commemorate a procession of shogunal vassals (hatamoto). The figures are stamped then hand-colored. Students will transcribe and translate text and annotate illustrations.
